WiFi Network and Increased Internet Bandwidth

Replaced aging wifi network which provided coverage with 20 access points with a new wifi network of 80 access points which provides coverage and density. Upgraded from 50Mb to 100Mb Internet Connection.

IBMS, IBHS, and Busbarn data closet upgrades, new firewall, and Increased Internet Bandwidth

Replaced aging network switches and wiring and installed a new advanced firewall. Upgraded from 200Mb to 500Mb Internet Connection.

Phase #2 - Summer 2016
Datacenter and Increased Internet Bandwidth

Replaced aging traditional servers with new virtualized servers and upgraded the datacenter data closet. Upgraded from 100Mb to 200Mb Internet Connection.

In order to support the number of new devices being added to the network, the district has invested heavily in upgrading our network infrastructure over the last three years. The infrastructure upgrades enabled a smooth transition into a K-12 1:1 program. We applied for and received over $70,000 in Erate Category 2 funding.
Phase #4 - Summer 2018
IBES datacloset upgrade

We are researching replacing 20 year old fiber from the technology office to the elementary school to increase network connectivity. We are also looking into replacing aging network switches in this location.
