We offer a comprehensive range of quality educational opportunities for our students.  Our campus houses all of our students "under one roof" and we are able to have just about everything a larger school offers in a smaller, more individualized setting.

Our district is governed by a seven member Board of Education that sets policy and direction for the district.  Members serve a 4-year term and meet on the third Monday of each month in the Rose Alvey library located in the elementary school.  Our administration is led by our Superintendent Dr. Roger Alvey, and three principals who manage the day to day activities within their schools.

Our district employs sixty-six highly qualified teachers serving 971 students in grades pre-k through 12.  Many of our teachers have spent their entire career at IB, and that is evident with a 89% teacher retention rate.  This equates to hundreds of years of combined experience that provides a quality education to every student.

Our district is known for it's family culture, and many of our teachers and staff are IB alumni.  We are proud to see so many generations of families come through our doors, and we invite you to visit our history page to see how our district has evolved over the years.

We house our own transportation department which safely transports 70% of our student body to and from school with an average of 174,000 miles driven per year!

Our district has two kitchens and our food service department serves over 35,000 meals on an annual basis.

We are proud of our technology capabilities, and our district is committed to providing our students and staff with the 21st century technology tools.  Our technology department has embarked on a journey to provide full sets of mobile devices in every classroom at IB, and every day we are seeing how this technology is enhancing learning throughout our district.

The IB Story

From our humble beginning that consisted of a few rural school houses to the extraordinary campus we have today - the IB story is a pictoral timeline of how our school district was formed and how we have evolved over the years.  The IB story also pays tribute to those folks who played an exceptional role in making our school district into what it is today.
